Our Little Idol, Kuku, Turns 3!

English

Our beloved Kuku turned three years old on July 10th!
It’s been almost three years since we met her on October 10th, 2022.
Time truly flies.

The fact that she was born into this world.
The fact that she came to be part of our family.
And the fact that she gives us nothing but smiles and healing every single day.

Thank you, Kuku ♡

Honestly, without Kuku, our family might have fallen apart…
I really believe we wouldn’t have survived the hormonal battlefield of adolescence vs. menopause.
She’s saved both me and my daughter, countless times. Each of us, in our own way.

Lately, mother-daughter fights have become less frequent, but we still have those little flare-ups sometimes.
And every time we start to go at it—Kuku steps in and scolds us, like:

“Hey!! That’s enough from both of you!!”

I swear that’s exactly what she’s saying.
And the way she gets so serious about it makes us laugh, and the fight ends right there.

She’s not very dog-like in some ways. She sleeps in late like a human.
She thinks my daughter’s pillow belongs to her and claims the center every night,
which leads to constant battles over pillow space.

Even when dinner is late, she doesn’t get mad—she just looks groggy and half-asleep.

But somehow… she knows exactly when it’s noon.
At 12:00 sharp, her eyes sparkle, and she follows me around,
because it’s her favorite time of day—treat time!

Her favorite toy is one with a rope.
She’ll patiently keep at it until she’s frayed every last bit.
And when she finally finishes her masterpiece…
well, I throw it away. Sorry, Kuku.

She’s not into mischief at all.
She never chews on cords or things on the floor—just leaves them alone.

But her one weakness? My daughter’s socks.
She’s obsessed. One sock is always missing.

She doesn’t mind staying home alone.
But if it’s past 8PM, she starts wondering, “Isn’t it kind of late?” and lets out a little howl.

She’s a dog, but not a fan of walks.
Most of the time, she prefers being carried.

That’s our Kuku ♡
And we hope to have her in our lives forever and ever.

Her sleepy face, the way she drinks water, the way she just sits there—even her angry face.
The way she begs for treats, the way she zooms around the house for no reason.
Every single thing about her is absolutely precious to me.

Happy 3rd Birthday, Kuku!!
I LOVE YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH ♡
